Quality Group, a prominent business group in Qatar, has announced the opening of fifth hypermarket at Bin Mahmoud in the third week of February.
“The hypermarket is designed in three floors with a total area of 100,000sq ft,” Quality Group managing director Shamsudheen Olakara said yesterday.
The ground floor will have various shops and kiosks such as pharmacy, optical store, counters for flowers and chocolates, coffee shops, ATM counters of leading banks, automatic utility payment machines, and money exchanges in addition to a spacious supermarket for the food and non-food items.
On the first floor are mobile phone shops, watch shops, beauty parlours for gents and children, fashion shops, garments and readymade section, footwear, home furniture and decor, stationery, and fashion jewellery as part of a department store.
The second floor is exclusively designed for various electrical, electronics, IT devices and home appliances of leading brands from across the world. Ample parking is available.
“An advanced Travelator facility has also been arranged inside the hypermarket, which is adjacent to a proposed station of the Doha Metro,” the official said.
The group already has three hypermarkets in Qatar - Salwa Road, Airport Road and Industrial Area. In addition, they have a hypermarket in Bangalore, India.
“The group’s sixth project, Quality Mall – Hilal, will also be ready for opening in the last week of March,” he added.
