The metal barricades, installed along Doha Corniche ahead of the Qatar National Day parade last month to prevent parking of vehicles and later placed on the narrow pavement, keep falling on parked cars in strong winds and cause damage to the vehicles. A resident, whose car was badly scratched by a falling barricade, suggested that the authorities concerned should either remove the barricades or ensure that they do not damage parked vehicles.
