Khamis al- Khaldi, regional director of the Western region of PHCC, emphasised that this step will benefit the patients in a big way.
Al- Khaldi said: “This step will reduce the congestion and the pressure on the health centre during the week and will help the patients avail the services during the weekend. There are future expansion plans to extend the same weekend services in most busy health centres in Doha.
Dr Edris, pointed out that the weekend schedule at the heath centre will contribute to make it easier for the patients to get the services they needed.
