Jaidah Automotive, a subsidiary of Jaidah Group, and the exclusive dealer of Chevrolet cars in Qatar has launched the 2015 Chevrolet Trax, which the company says is one of the most advanced small-size SUVs in the market.

The unveiling ceremony of the vehicle was attended by Jaidah Group executive director Mohamed Jaidah and Jaidah Automotive’s director of operations Khaled Samir and managing director Khaled Hassan.

Al-Jaidah said his company is excited to present the all-new 2015 Chevrolet Trax. “With its contemporary and vastly versatile features, we’re sure that it’s going to significantly expand Chevrolet’s customer base in the Qatari market.”

Chevrolet Trax was developed based on General Motors’ 79 years of experience in building SUVs. The car has a well-organised, flexible and practical interior that is sufficient for the modern family. It includes AWD for off-road adventures. Fuel consumption is low but the car still retains the strength of an SUV.

Trax gives buyers the benefits of a SUV while combining the driving dynamics and fuel economy of a smaller car, making it a highly desired choice for Doha residents.

Khaled Samir said “the new small SUV Chevrolet Trax is one of a its kind with various functions, refined interior, and a range of advanced technology to suit our current year and age. We hope that it will appeal to people who seek practicality yet have class”.

The new SUV offers four comfortable seating combinations, and plenty of smart storage space. It allows owners to use Chevrolet’s “MyLink” infotainment system that integrates a smartphone with the car, can easily access playlists, phone books, photo galleries, and includes apps such as TuneIn radio; all to ensure the users’ constant connectivity.

Chevrolet Trax is one of the safest small SUVs in its segment, as it has been engineered to carry more than four times its own weight. The vehicle is equipped with a comprehensive range of modern chassis control systems which includes Hill Start Assist. Other standard features include electronic stability control, traction control, four-channel anti-lock brakes with electronic Brake force distribution and roll-over mitigation.

The car also includes six airbags, three-point seatbelts in all five seating positions, ISOFX anchoring systems for children’s safety seats and a collapsible pedal are equally part of standard safety features onboard the Trax.
