Ooredoo has announced a new promotion with its Hala Bangladesh Key, offering a rate of 15Dhs per minute/message for calls and SMSes to the country for one month.

Previously, customers subscribed to the service were eligible to take advantage of the reduced rate of 20Dhs per minute. With the new price reduction, customers can enjoy a 5Dhs saving per minute/message.

The promotion, which runs until December 26, will enable subscribers to benefit from the price discount on calls and SMSes for QR2 per week.

To subscribe, Hala customers need to SMS ‘BAN’ to 121. The subscription will be automatically renewed weekly as long as customers have the QR2 subscription fee on their mobile credit balance. To cancel the service, customers
can SMS ‘STOP BAN’ to 121.

The Hala Bangladesh Key, which has become one of the most popular prepaid subscriptions in Qatar, was launched early this year following high demand from the approximately 130,000 Bangladeshi migrant workers in the country, according to a statement.

Ooredoo offers a host of international calling saving options for customers wanting to adapt their Hala or Shahry services to better suit their monthly needs.
