Somalia’s President Hassan Sheikh Mahmoud met the charge d’affaires of Qatar’s embassy in Mogadishu Hassan bin Hamza Assad Mohamed, on the occasion of the opening of the embassy in Somalia.
The charge d’affaires conveyed the greetings of HH the Emir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad al-Thani to the Somali President and his wishes for good health and happiness and continued progress and prosperity for Somalia.
For his part, President Mahmoud entrusted the charge d’affaires to convey his greetings to HH the Emir and his wishes for him continued good health and happiness and further progress and prosperity for the leadership of the State of Qatar and its people.
During the meeting, they discussed bilateral relations between the two countries and ways of enhancing them.
