The Ministry of Interior (MoI) has called on sponsors, including citizens, residents and enterprises, to lodge complaints about absconding workers through the Metrash 2 service in order to save time and effort.
The ministry has activated the service, which allows all sponsors to notify the police on absconding workers through the window “Public Services” on Metrash 2.
The Metrash 2 service facilitates the execution of a number of services for both the public and private sectors as well as for individuals.
Brigadier Nasser Issa al-Sayed, director of the Search and Follow-up Department, said activation of the service on absconding workers highlights the MoI’s eagerness to provide quality electronic facilities that help the public avail of services easily and conveniently.
He said the service aims to save time and effort for the beneficiaries, noting that it allows users to conduct their transactions anywhere, at any time and from any smartphone.
Further, Brigadier al-Sayed pointed out that the ministry is seeking to promote an integrated electronic system for all services provided to citizens and residents.
“Additional services related to the management of search and follow-up on Metrash 2, which will contribute to the upgrade of the department’s services, are currently under way in an effort to ensure public satisfaction,” he stressed.
