Novo Cinemas’ new facility set for festive opening at Pearl-Qatar
Novo Cinemas, the Middle East’s largest chain of cinemas and a subsidiary of Qatar Media Services, is to open its doors to viewers in Qatar during Eid al-Fitr.
The flagship facility at The Pearl-Qatar will boast standout features that include 1,456 seats over 10 state-of-the-art screens. Cinema-goers can customise their night-out through a clearly differentiated choice of seating and theatre options.
Novo Cool and Novo Edge represent the variety of seating positions within the theatre, from standard seats to superior back-row seats.
Novo 3D brings the exhilarating experience of 3D visuals to the viewer’s world, while Novo Imax represents the world’s leading immersive cinema experience, and further strengthens Novo’s position as home to the largest network of Imax screens in the Middle East.

Masraf Al Rayan bank announces Eid al-Fitr schedule
Masraf Al Rayan has announced the schedule for its branches at City Center, Wathnan Mall and The Mall.
The branches will resume serving the public on the third day of Eid from 9am to 2.30pm and from 3.30pm to 9pm. The announcement was based on a circular issued by the Qatar Central Bank to all banks in the country in relation to the celebration of Eid al-Fitr, which will start from July 28 to July 31.
