The campaign team of Indonesian presidential candidate Prabowo Subianto refused to concede defeat Wednesday after Jakarta governor Joko Widodo declared victory in the country's tightest election since the end of authoritarian rule.

"The process is still ongoing," said the head of Prabowo's campaign, Mahfud M.D. Unofficial tallies showed Widodo with a lead but official results are not due out for about two weeks.
He added: "Based on our survey institutes... the victory is on our side."
