The management of Qatar Petroleum’s (QP) offshore operations recently shared Iftar and Ghabga with QP employees and contractors’ staff on Halul Island.

The event was attended by Mubarak A al-Hajri, operations manager (offshore fields); Ahmed A al-Aji, manager, production; Mohd Y al-Abdulla, manager, Halul Terminal and Export; Rashid M al-Sulaiti, manager, operations engineering; Mahmoud A Khoori, manager, marine; Hassan A al-Saygh, manager, health, safety and environment; and Ali R Ashkanani, manager, oil spill, emergency response.

Sports activities were also held as part of the event and offshore operations’ management participated in games such as table tennis, snooker and the traditional Arabic board game (Keram).

The event aimed to promote social activities among the staff during the holy month of Ramadan.

Al-Hajri extended his gratitude and appreciation to HE Dr Mohamed bin Saleh al-Sada, Minister of Energy & Industry and chairman of QP, and Said M al-Mohannadi, QP’s director of operations, for their continued support. He also thanked all offshore operations officials and staff for the success of the event.
