QNB Group has held a celebration in honour of its long-serving employees who have put in 25 years or more of service.

At the ceremony 29 employees from different departments were honoured.

The group’s celebration in honour of its long-serving staff coincides with marking its 50th anniversary as the country’s first national bank that has now developed into a leading financial institution with branches, subsidiaries and associates covering 26 countries and nearly 600 sites around the globe, employing approximately 14,000 personnel in three continents where QNB has become one of the strongest banks in the world.

Ali Ahmed al-Kuwari, acting chief executive officer, QNB Group, said: “We hold this celebration in honour of our employees who have spent between 25 and 44 years of continued giving to the QNB Group, with total years of service amounting to 832 years.

“At QNB, we are proud of being one big family based on loyalty, commitment and pride. No doubt that each one of those who are being honoured is a living example of the values cherished by the group, and at the same time is proud of being a member of this human capital that adds special significance to this celebration.”

During the ceremony, the 29 long-serving staff members were awarded certificates of appreciation bearing the years of service of each of the employees.
