Amadeus Qatar has unveiled latest products and solutions to the Qatar travel market that highlights their commitment to operational efficiency and revenue generation.
The event, Amadeus Advantage, was held at a hotel in Doha and drew the participation of travel representatives from leading agencies in Qatar.
The Amadeus Social Media Suite, one of the new Amadeus platforms launched at the event, generated considerable interest. The interface allows agencies to connect with their customers’ favourite social media channels through a single application.
The newly-developed Amadeus Mobile Traveller, a mobile application that provides travellers with pre-trip, in-trip and post-trip information, drew the attention of travel agents and next-generation travellers alike. The Amadeus Credit Limit Control application, designed to help agents manage customer credit at their point of sale, also generated a positive response.

Other technologies on display at the event included the Amadeus Ticketing Timeline Advisor, an automated ticketing notification system, the Amadeus Hotels Plus Multi Source, which provides real-time hotel availability and rates to help travellers choose the ideal accommodation, the Amadeus Selling Platform Connect that provides agencies and travel consultants with instant access to global, regional and local travel, and the Amadeus Remote Ticketing Solution, an automated system that helps agencies distribute travel more efficiently.
