HE the Prime Minister and Interior Minister Sheikh Abdullah bin Nasser bin Khalifa al-Thani with HE Salah bin Ghanem bin Nasser al-Ali, Minister of Youth and Sports, and Hassan Abdullah al-Thawadi at the headquarters of the Supreme Committee for Delivery & Legacy at Al Bidda Tower yesterday.

 

HE the Prime Minister and Interior Minister Sheikh Abdullah bin Nasser bin Khalifa al-Thani has presided over the fifth meeting of the Executive Committee of the Supreme Committee for Delivery and Legacy (SC). 

The meeting followed up on the progress of projects related to the 2022 FIFA World Cup.

HE Sheikh Abdullah is chairman of the Executive Committee.

The meeting was attended by HE Sheikh Mohamed bin Hamad al-Thani, vice-chairman of the Executive Committee and managing director of the Supreme Committee for Delivery and Legacy; HE Sheikh Abdulrahman bin Khalifa bin Abdulaziz al-Thani, Minister of Municipality and Urban Planning; HE Ali Sherif al-Emadi, Minister of Finance; HE Salah bin Ghanem bin Nasser al-Ali, Minister of Youth and Sports; HE Abdullah Saleh Mubarak al-Khulaifi, Minister of Labour and Social Affairs; HE Jassim Seif Ahmed al-Sulaiti, Minister of Transport; Hassan Abdullah al-Thawadi, secretary general of the Supreme Committee for Delivery and Legacy; and Ali Abdullah al-Thawadi, a representative of the Supreme Committee for Delivery & Legacy.

Following the meeting, HE al-Ali was led on a tour of the headquarters of the Supreme Committee for Delivery & Legacy at Al Bidda Tower and was briefed on the operational plans, daily work flow and master plan for the 2022 FIFA World Cup Qatar.

He also met Supreme Committee staff to thank them for their efforts and urged them to continue their work to implement the tournament’s projects and achieve a sustainable legacy for Qatar after the finals.
