Mowasalat has extended the bus service hours beyond midnight during Ramadan.

The company yesterday announced that the public bus services will be operated to select routes from the Central Bus Station until 12.30am instead of the current 11pm.

The decision has been made in view of many people working till late hours.

Mowasalat has also introduced more taxis than usual in the late hours. Efforts have also been made to ensure the availability of taxis at different locations throughout the holy month, especially late in the evenings.

The number of taxis operating from the Hamad International Airport (HIA) has also been increased as more people are travelling out of the country during these days.

Similarly, special arrangement has been made to ensure the availability of more taxis at shopping malls throughout the month.

Mowasalat is also preparing to participate in the Ramadan Football Tournament to be hosted by the Ministry of Transport. It will also take part in other various events such as annual Ramadan Suhoor, distribution of free meals among drivers and Garangao giveaways.
