The 1998 World Cup winners France and African champions Nigeria were tied at 0-0 at half-time in their World Cup last 16 match in Brasilia on Monday.
Nigeria -- bidding to reach the quarter-finals for the first time -- put the ball into the net but the linesman flagged for offside against the scorer Emmanuel Emenike.
France's best effort saw Paul Pogba's effort brilliantly saved by Vincent Enyeama.
