Qatar Fuel Additives Company (Qafac) has distributed Certificates of Long Service to 100 employees during the “2014 Long Service Award” ceremony, which was hosted by the company at the Hilton Hotel.
The loyalty awards were bestowed by Qafac chief executive officer Nasser al-Kuwari to employees, whose milestones range from five, 10, and 15 years of continuous service with the company.
Aside from the certificates, al-Kuwari also presented the awardees with commemorative gifts. To officially open the awarding ceremony, Qafac talent manager Peter McManus highlighted the importance of long service and continuity to any organisation. “Employees who had joined the company since 1999 representing all departments gathered to enjoy good company and a splendid meal,” al-Kuwari said in his keynote speech. Al-Kuwari also congratulated all employees that were called on stage to receive their certificates.
“Qafac is a small family of skilled and dedicated individuals, each with an incredibly important part to play in the bigger picture that is the success of the company,” al-Kuwari said.
He added: “The ongoing success of Qafac over the years has in no small part been down to what I observe on a day-to-day basis: commitment, endeavour, initiative, dedication, and professionalism. These are the traits of any great company and we are privileged to enjoy these traits in abundance here in Qafac through you.”
