QIB-UK’s residential investment financing product has been designed to offer tailored financing solutions, which includes customer care, competitive pricing and security of execution.

QIB-UK, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Qatar Islamic Bank (QIB), is offering unique real estate investment opportunities for its premium clients looking to purchase properties in London in view of the increasing demand from affluent Qataris.

QIB-UK has put in place a team of specialists who will help ensure that clients get the best real estate opportunities in the market. The bank’s network gives prospective clients early access to exclusive residential real estate opportunities, a QIB spokesman said in a communiqué to the Qatar Stock Exchange.

Both buyers and investors will enjoy privileged introductions to the best opportunities in the London real estate market.

“We have noticed an increasing interest in London real estate market from Qataris who are regularly visiting this great city, and as a leading bank in Qatar, we are committed to meeting our clients’ expectations by developing product offerings that meet their needs,” Bert De Ruiter, QIB-UK’s CEO said.

Qatari interest in the UK has surged in recent years, with the number of nationals visiting Britain increasing year-on-year for several reasons such as tourism, higher education, or diversification of investments.

QIB-UK’s residential investment financing product has been designed to offer tailored financing solutions, which includes customer care, competitive pricing and security of execution.

In addition, the bank offers a full suite of Shariah-compliant structured commercial real estate financing products including investment, residential development and mezzanine financing to clients.

Shariah-compliant finance represents one of the fastest growing sectors of the international capital markets. It is particularly well suited to the requirements of real estate finance and can be structured to support the financing of a full range of residential investment, development and commercial real estate propositions, the spokesman said.

QIB-UK has worked closely with the QIB to develop a real estate financing product that suits their different needs, whether looking for buy-to-let property investment or wanting to occupy one.

QIB-UK was fully authorised as an Islamic bank by the UK Financial Services Authority in January 2008.
