Qatar and Kyrgyzstan yesterday signed an agreement on co-operation and technical support in the economic and trade sectors.  
The agreement was signed by HE the Minister of Economy and Commerce Sheikh Ahmed bin Jassim bin Mohamed al-Thani and Kyrgyz Minister of Economy Temir Sariev Bishkek.
The Kyrgyz minister is visiting Doha to discuss co-operation in economy, trade and investment fields between the two countries.  
The agreement aims to establish a framework of co-operation between the two countries in the economic, commercial and technical domains. It aims to boost co-operation in trade, industry, energy, small and medium enterprises, tourism, agro-industry, agriculture, communications and facilitate the transportation and construction sectors on the basis of equality and mutual benefits.  
It further aims to encourage the private sector and businessmen, organisations and companies to explore the potential projects.
