Mohamed Hayil Group (MHG) Trading and Contracting Company, a Qatari company classified as Grade “A” by the Public Works Authority (Ashghal), has acquired Insha Contracting & Trading Company.
The acquisition came in a deal to broaden the scope of MHG in the field of construction, as Insha has already implemented a number of important construction projects for the public and private sectors. After the acquisition Insha has become a subsidiary of MHG.
“The group is classified grade A by Ashghal in the field of infrastructure and electromechanical works, and acquiring Insha is considered a real addition to complement our activities in construction, especially during this period of the construction and infrastructure boom in the country,” pointed out Mohamed Hayil, CEO of MHG. He said Insha’s volume of works amounts to around QR300mn, so the acquisition would reflect positively on the overall works of MHG, due to its vast practical experience in the field of construction and its already successful projects. It has also implemented various key projects in the country such as Al Shamal Sports Club, a number of towers at Dafna Area, some projects for Qatar Petroleum (QP) and a number of public gardens and mosques. Insha is also accredited by some government entities such as QP, Ashghal and the Ministry of Municipality and Urban Planning.
