Officials of QP and other dignitaries pose in front of the QP stand at the GCC Expo 2014, which is currently being held at the Expo Centre in Sharjah. QP, along with its subsidiary Qatar Petrochemical Company, is a major exhibitor at the GCC Expo, and the QP stand has attracted several delegates and visitors, many of whom have inquired about the corporation’s operations and its current projects. Sheikh Abdullah bin Salem bin Sultan al-Qasimi, Deputy Ruler of Sharjah, who inaugurated the event yesterday, visited the QP stand, where he was received by members of the QP delegation, who explained to him QP’s ongoing operations and future projects. The Sharjah ruler was accompanied by HE Sheikh Ahmed bin Jassim bin Mohamed al-Thani, Qatar’s Minister of Economy and Commerce. The GCC Expo 2014, which will conclude on May 30, is organised by the UAE Ministry of Economy, under the theme “Deepening economic integration between the Gulf countries” and has attracted the participation of more than 300 companies from GCC countries.
