The Milipol Qatar Committee has participated in the Special Operations Forces Exhibition & Conference (Sofex) 2014 in Amman.
The committee participated as part of its preparations for the 10th edition of the Milipol Qatar 2014 which will be held from October 20, at Doha Exhibition Centre.
The Milipol delegation included Brig Nasser bin Fahad al-Thani, chairman of the committee, and Brig Saud Rashid al-Shafi, member of the committee and head of the procurement section Ministry of Interior.
The three-day Sofex 2014 was opened by King Abdullah II of Jordan on May 5, where 371 companies from 35 countries participated.
Sofex takes place biennially, where international security establishments meet in the presence of their military leaders and government representatives.
The Milipol delegates also visited pavilions of the international companies and handed them over the brochures and booklets to promote the Milipol Qatar 2014.
