Samsung Electronics Company and its local partner Techno Blue unveiled two of the company’s premium products - the top mounted freezer RT73 and all-new air-conditioner AR24 - at a distributor conference in Qatar.

“Taking into account the local climate, Samsung equipped the RT73 Refrigerator and the AR24 Air Conditioner with technology that cools effectively, but is energy efficient and environmentally green at the same time,” said Mohamed Gharaibeh, general manager of Home Appliance at Samsung Gulf Electronics.

K V Gopal, general manager at Techno Blue said: “By making Samsung’s latest home appliance additions available at our stores we are confident we meet our customers’ expectations and provide them with the best products in the market.”

The RT73 has Samsung’s all-around-cooling feature which evenly cools the fridge by blowing cold air through multiple outlets, and restoring an optimal temperature when the door has been opened and closed.

The RT73 also comes equipped with the ‘power cool’, a ‘moist fresh zone’, deodorising filter, anti-bacterial protector, exclusive digital inverter technology that uses up to 47% less energy than conventional freezers, and is quiet at only 39dB. The digital inverter compressor comes with a 10-year warranty.

The AR24 is an innovative air-conditioner featuring “triangle design” and “easy filter & virus doctor.” The triangle design offers optimal outlet angle for better air distribution and powerful cooling. The unique design enables a powerful 14m wind blast.  The virus doctor technology and high density filter feature filters out dust and eliminates the air-borne virus and allergy up to 99.99%. The AR24 is equipped with a triple protector system, ensuring stable, long-lasting protection and performance against inclement weather and voltage spikes.

The RT73 is retailing for QR2,999 and the AR24 at QR2,999 and will be available across all major stores.
