LinkedIn, the world’s largest professional network on the Internet, announced that it has reached 300mn members in more than 200 countries and territories. The US-based company has added more than 23mn members since February 6, 2014.
Qatar was identified as one of the first markets worldwide from where a majority of the members accessed the platform on a mobile device. All the GCC countries have crossed their “mobile moment” – more than half the LinkedIn members in each of the six GCC states access the platform from a mobile device. Every day, an average of 15mn profile views, 1.45mn job views, and 44,000 job applications in 200 countries are through mobile devices.

In addition to crossing 300mn members globally, LinkedIn has also announced that it has crossed 100mn members in the USA, showing that two-thirds of its member-base is spread across the globe.
