Beneficiaries of Seha – the National Health Insurance Scheme (NHIS) can now have prescriptions for their eyeglasses and frames from contracted network providers in the scheme by visiting Magrabi Optical outlets in Qatar.
Seha’s optical coverage includes ophthalmic lenses, spectacle frames, contact lenses and contact lens fitting. Members can get prescribed eyeglasses and lenses for a value up to QR1,000 every two years through Seha’s optical equipment network. Prescriptions from network providers will be honoured on a direct billing basis so that members need not make cash payments up to QR1,000. Amounts above that limit will have to be settled in cash directly by the member.
Magrabi Optical brings six outlets into the Seha provider network, offering scheme members both choice and convenience when it comes to their optical needs. The complete list of participating outlets can be found at: www.seha.qa.
Seha provides Qatari nationals with comprehensive health insurance coverage for the full range of basic health services, through a network of high quality public and private providers.
