Ahli Bank has increased its range of customer service options with the addition of Ooredoo as its latest banking partner.
Ooredoo and Ahli Bank yesterday announced a new partnership agreement, which will enable Ahli Bank customers to pay prepaid and postpaid services in real-time via Ahli Bank’s online banking service.
Ooredoo assistant director (Indirect Channels) Brian Speldewinde said: “Ooredoo continues to expand our network of partners to make it as easy as possible for people to update their accounts and pay for services. We’re delighted to be working with Ahli Bank, because we share a strong focus on the customer experience and aim to make online services easily accessible for customers.”
The alliance now allows Ooredoo customers to pay bills and top-up their Hala accounts using the online banking service, which automatically registers all requests on the client’s account.
“Our latest online banking service is available internationally, anytime of the day, and at no extra cost. With the addition of Ooredoo payment facilities, the service now provides even greater convenience and accessibility for customers,” Speldewinde said.
Deputy chief executive officer Andrew McKechnie (Retail Banking) said: “Our online banking service provides customers with all the facilities they need, wherever they are and whatever the time. The addition of the facilities to pay Ooredoo bills and top-up Hala services adds an extra layer of convenience for people in their daily lives.”
“Ooredoo continues to expand the range of its programmes to help customers manage communication needs by signing with new partners, expanding its range of e-Channels, and offering a nationwide network of Self-Service Machines (SSM) that can be accessed anytime,” Speldewinde said.
