Mashreq Qatar has been able to launch several new products and services aimed at improving customer experience in the country, the bank has said.
The bank introduced the “biggest” card discount programme in Qatar, offering Mashreq Platinum Elite Credit Card holders up to 50% off on their bills at over 50 outlets in Qatar.
In addition, customers could already enjoy Oryx lounge access, AAA roadside assistance Membership, Double Salaam Points, Al Maha Meet & Assist Service and much more.
For personal banking customers, the bank introduced ‘Majestic III’, which offers QAR 10,000-plus worth of savings along with a free iPad Air to loan customers. The 0% interest free shopping offers have been introduced at leading retail outlets like StarLinks and 51 East.
Another step to further improve the customer experience is the launch of the Salaam loyalty programme that rewards Mashreq customers with loyalty points (Salaam points) on their entire banking relationship and allows them to redeem their Salaam points at leading retail outlets across Doha, including Marks & Spencer, Home Centre, Jumbo and many more.
Mashreq Qatar said it is also “the only bank in Qatar” to launch “UAE Flavours” for its Platinum debit and credit card customers, providing its Platinum card customers discounts of up to 25% at more than 700 outlets in UAE. As part of its summer offers for customers, Mashreq is offering triple Salaam points to all customers who purchase travel tickets and holiday accommodation.
Mashreq Qatar said it continues to expand the menu of savings solutions to customers. The “Step Up Saver” account has been launched, which gives customers a savings account plus ATM/debit card along with increasing returns based on the deposit amount.
The ‘Advanced Fixed Deposit’ is another revolutionary product that pays interest upfront to depositors, the bank said. It introduced an exclusive Platinum debit card for all business banking and Mashreq Gold customers, including free travel insurance and free Schengen visa insurance facility. A savings account feature has been introduced for SME banking customers to allow customers to earn interest on excess cash.
On the electronic banking front, Mashreq Qatar has introduced a range of improvements. Customers can now use MashreqOnline banking to pay their Kahramaa bills and the payment is instantly reflected at the utility providers.
New statement features have been introduced offering customers a more convenient way to download their bank statements with improved details. A feature has been introduced where Mashreq Gold customers can communicate with their relationship managers through online banking.
Moreover, all customers can now transfer money throughout Qatar with no processing fee (fee on international money transfers has already been eliminated). To facilitate business banking customers, automated intimation of legal documents expiry through SMS has also been introduced, the bank said.
Another unique feature to ensure customer contact details are conveniently updated is that all customers can now update their mobile numbers instantly through any Mashreq ATM. The “Snapp” mobile banking platform has also been upgraded to include Windows devices (in addition to Android, Blackberry and iOS, which were already covered).
