Mowasalat Co (Karwa), in collaboration with Qatar Rail, has participated in the UITP Mena Congress and Exhibition in Dubai. The event concluded yesterday.

Mowasalat and Qatar Rail participated in the event as representatives of Qatar’s transport sector and also as the members of the International Association of Public Transport (UITP).

Mowasalat, along with Qatar Rail, presented future plans in the field of transportation and sustained mobility solutions at the
exhibition.

Nasser al-Khanji, executive director (support services), Mowasalat, who is also the UITP executive board member chaired and moderated a session on “Design must reflect
environment”.

Ali Bahzad, senior engineer and director, taxis and limousine, chaired a forum on “Transport energy demand, global warming and vision on de-carbonisation of energy”.

Mowasalat also displayed a bus that it assembled at its in-house facility at Karwa Services. It also shared the company’s expertise in assembling and innovation in bus designing.
