Targeting some 6,000 students from various government and international schools in the country, Qatar Foundation for Protection and Social Rehabilitation (QFPSR) will hold an awareness campaign under the slogan “Stay Aware”.

The campaign will be launched by the end of this month and continue through May.

Through this initiative, QFPSR seeks to raise awareness among students about their rights and duties, promote positive behaviour and curb negative ones within the school community, in addition to incorporating the principles of child rights in the educational curricula.

Further, the campaign aims to introduce QFPSR and the nature of its work to the students as well as the means of communication between the students and QFPSR.

The campaign will include a number of activities, including artworks on the issues addressed by QFPSR, lectures, training workshops, scientific debates, recreational competitions and more.

Such campaigns are organised in co-operation with public entities such as the Supreme Education Council, Ministry of Interior, Ministry of Endowments (Awqaf), Community Policing.
