Alain Dioko(Al Ahli)
Top goalscorer

Alain Dioko of Al Ahli scored 22 goals off 26 appearances in the 2013-14 season of the Qatar Stars League. The centre forward ended the season with four more goals than his Al Wakrah counterpart Sebastian Saez and eight more than the Al Sadd attacking midfielder Khalfan Ibrahim.
Al Sailiya’s Moumouni Dagano scored 14 goals off 24 appearances and Qatar SC’s Adriano Martins Ferreira scored 13.
Dioko’s team-mate Meshal Abdulla, Lekhwiya’s Nam Tae-Hee, Youssef Msakni and Sebastian Soria, and Al Arabi’s Wanderley, all scored 12 goals this season.
Dioko had already surpassed Soria’s 2012-13 record of 19 goals in a season in the 24th round of the league. What’s commendable is that only two of his goals came off a penalty spot.

Khalfan Ibrahim(Al Sadd)
Youssef Msakni(Lekhwiya)
Top Assists

Top assists for the season was won by Khalfan Ibrahim Khalfan of Al Sadd who not only assisted on 11 occasions but also scored 14 goals, bringing his combined total to 25 goals.
However this was matched by Sebastian Saez’s who was also involved in 25 of his team’s goals, once we take into account his goals (18) and assists (7).
Although Alain Dioko won the accolade for most goals scored (22), once you add his assists, his overall contribution was 24 goals which is one goal less than Khalfan of Al Sadd or Saez of Al Wakrah.
Top creators were Khalfan and Youssef Msakni with 11 assists each, with the Korean Nam Tae-Hee and Moumouni Dagano just behind on 10 assists each.

Gregory Gomis(Al Sailiya)
Top Goalkeeper

Gregory Gomis made 90 saves this season beating last season’s record which was set by Omar Barry (64). This stat shows that Gomis actually contributed significantly to his team’s overall success as Al Sailiya finished in the top four, the first time in their history.

El Jaish
Most Passes

In the final round of the Qatar Stars League, El Jaish had some eye catching statistics in their goalless draw against Al Khor. El Jaish had a record 97.3% pass accuracy which was remarkable considering they passed a record 1043 times. Bizarrely, they still failed to score even once.
