A 33-year-old Indian expatriate, who had gone to his home state to attend his mother’s funeral earlier this week, died in a road accident in Kozhikode district of India’s Kerala state yesterday. Two of his Qatar-based brothers also sustained injuries.
The deceased, identified as Hisham Mohamed, was working as an IT engineer in the Ministry of Finance. His father, Madathil Mohamed Koya, was an employee of Qatar Steel.
Hisham’s mother passed away on Tuesday after battling cancer for months.
In yesterday’s accident Hisham’s brothers Thauseef (Qatar Steel), Haseem (Siemens Qatar) and Hashif were injured.
Hisham leaves behind his wife and two children.
