Japanese ambassador Shingo Tsuda recently hosted a reception at his residence for those who visited Japan under various programmes offered by the Japanese government.
Turki al-Mahmoud, Assistant Director of the Higher Education Institute of Supreme Education Council, attended the reception as a representative of the Qatari side and delivered a speech highlighting the excellent relations between the two nations, especially in the field of education.
Ambassador Tsuda welcomed the guests and emphasised the importance of enhancing people-to-people exchange.
The reception was aimed at creating a bond among participants in various Japanese governmental programmes and creating a platform for wider cultural and intellectual exchange between the two nations.
