HE the Minister of Energy and Industry Dr Mohamed bin Saleh al-Sada has been granted honorary membership of the Qatari Businessmen Association (QBA). |
QBA chairman HE Sheikh Faisal bin Qassim al-Thani made it official at a business meeting at the minister’s office.
They discussed the latest commercial and industrial developments and the importance of strengthening the role of the private sector as one of the main pillars that contribute to the growth of the local economy.
Sheikh Faisal also discussed activities conducted by the QBA to serve Qatari businessmen and the business community in Doha.
He said the honour recognises the Minister’s “contribution to the development and growth of the industrial and economic sectors in Qatar, and his achievements in the energy sector, in addition to his role in supporting Qatari businessmen”.
