Qatar Steel joined more than 500 exhibitors from 35 countries at ‘The Big 5 Saudi 2014’, an international building and construction show held recently in Jeddah. In a bid to take advantage of the event’s strategic importance and commercial value, Qatar Steel met with local traders and customers and discussed business relations and enhanced mutual co-operation. Qatar Steel said it participated in the event “to meet and communicate with representatives of leading companies in the local, regional and international markets, working in the building and constructions sector, which is currently witnessing an enormous and prosperous growth in the Arabian Gulf, in general and in the State of Qatar, in particular.” The Big 5 is the largest building and constructions exhibition in the Middle East, attracting leading local, regional, and international companies to display their products and services, exploring new products, and to get updated with the developments and solutions in the constructions and building industry in the Arabian Gulf. The event was a good platform for exhibitors to showcase their latest products and services that meet the requirements of the building and constructions sector, exchange expertise, and get insights into the state-of-the-art equipment and technology used in the industry.
