Supreme Council of Health (SCH) has announced that the Health Call Centre will be set up within three months, in order to communicate with the public and the media round the clock, throughout the week.
The SCH, for this purpose has signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with the Ministry of Communications and Information Technology for establishing the centre.
The MoU was signed for SCH by Ahmed Abdullah al-Khulaifi, assistant secretary-general for Administrative Affairs and for the Ministry of Communications by Hassan Jassim al-Sayed, assistant secretary-general of the Government Information Technology.
Al-Khulaifi said the establishment of the centre comes within the framework of the Supreme Council of Health, to boost communication with citizens, residents, the media and various parties of the state,
He said this has been done in order to launch an integrated and effective electronic system, to unify efforts in the field of co-ordination and communication with the health service providers and to keep pace with the remarkable progress taking place in Qatar’s health sector.
