Mannai HED, the heavy equipment division of Mannai Trading Company, official dealer of JCB heavy equipment in Qatar, recently welcomed JCB chairman Lord Bamford to the country. 

Lord Bamford visited Qatar as part of an international business itinerary and was welcomed to the country by senior members of Mannai Corporation.

During his trip, he met with senior representatives of Mannai Corporation and visited Mannai HED’s facilities in Doha.

Mohamed Helmy, Group general manager of Mannai Auto, said: “Lord Bamford’s visit was extremely positive. We discussed potential opportunities in Qatar and agreed on many opportunities to add value to our existing partnerships within the sector.”

JCB’s backhoe loaders, tracked excavators and wheeled excavators are some of the most sought-after equipment in their class in Qatar. Mannai HED has a long history of serving JCB clients in Qatar and is a leader in Qatar’s heavy equipment segment.

Lord Bamford has been instrumental in guiding JCB’s growth and in expanding an already successful UK business into a leading global manufacturer since taking over the reins at JCB.
