Ooredoo participated at the 7th annual UK Career Fair, organised by the Embassy of Qatar in London, as part of its efforts to reach out to the next generation of young Qatari leaders.

More than 200 students attended the event, which aims to help Qatari students in the UK to find jobs with institutions and national companies in Qatar. The UK Career Fair was held at the Grosvenor House Hotel in London. More than 60 high potential Qatari students showed an active interest in working for Ooredoo. Demonstrating Ooredoo’s commitment to young talent, senior executives attended the event, led by  Sheikh Abdullah bin Mohammed bin Saud al- Thani, chairman of Ooredoo, who spoke on the opportunities and challenges facing young Qataris in today’s modern world.

Sheikh Abdullah said: “Ooredoo believes in the potential of the next generation, and we support them through our services, through our initiatives, and through the diverse array of job opportunities, training and development programmes for young people. Young Qatari nationals like the ones who attended this Career Fair are the future of our country, and their enthusiasm and commitment will deliver great results for the people of Qatar.”

Ooredoo’s CEO, Sheikh Saud bin Nasser al- Thani and a number of other top executives  travelled to London to give support and meet the young people.This was the company’s fifth time at the fair which  demonstrates its commitment to recruiting top Qatari national graduates.
