Praise for Qatar support

Jordanian-Qatari Solidarity Committee chairman and Jordanian MP Basil Malkawi yesterday praised Qatar’s support of the Jordanian kingdom, particularly with regard to the 600,000 Syrian refugees displaced in Jordan.
Speaking to Qatar News Agency (QNA), Malkawi also lauded Qatar’s support to the rights of the Palestinian people, especially establishing an independent Palestinian state with East-Jerusalem its capital.
He expressed his happiness over the arrival of Qatar’s third aid convoy in Amman. The convoy included 1,000 caravans aiming to help Syrian refugees in Al Zaatari. He praised Qatar’s role in providing assistance to Syrian refugees, not just in Jordan, but in Lebanon and Turkey as well.
He stressed that the arrival of a third convoy in Amman was proof that Qatar was committed to its humanitarian role in the region.

HH the Emir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad al-Thani and HE the Prime Minister and Minister of Interior Sheikh Abdullah bin Nasser bin Khalifa al-Thani have sent cables of condolences and sympathy to the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz of Saudi Arabia, on the death of Prince Khalid bin Meshaal bin Abdulaziz al-Saud and Prince Abdulrahman bin Faisal bin Abdulaziz al-Saud.
