Anima Gallery in The Pearl-Qatar hosted members of Qatari Businesswomen Association (QBWA) on Sunday in an effort to promote the Qatar-Brazil 2014 activities. |
Anima Gallery is currently holding an exhibition (from dusk to dawn) for Brazilian artists Pedro Valera and Carolina Ponte.
The QBWA members headed by vice chairperson Aisha Alfardan toured the exhibition and listened to a briefing from Anima Gallery founder and QBWA member Ghada Sholy.
Aisha Alfardan said business and culture go hand in hand in promoting the modern Qatari society and shaping the global image of Qatar as an art destination.
Ghada Sholy commended the efforts undertaken by QBWA to empower women in Qatar and pointed out that Qatari women have proved themselves in all the scientific, cultural and economic sectors.
