Ford and Lincoln will showcase their latest line-up of all-new and refreshed products as well as their latest technologies and innovations at the 2014 Qatar Motor Show, scheduled from February 21 to 25 at Qatar National Convention Centre.

“We are thrilled to be back at the Qatar Motor Show this year with some of our latest models from Ford and Lincoln,” said Paul Anderson, Ford Middle East’s regional marketing director.

“We are truly excited to present our latest additions, especially the widely acclaimed midsize Ford Fusion and EcoSport compact urban SUV, both of which promise to take the Ford brand to new customer groups,” he explained.

Also being showcased is the redefined luxury of Lincoln through the recently launched all-new Lincoln MKZ full-size luxury sedan.

In the sedan segment, Ford Fusion is in the spotlight as it marks its official launch in the region, joined by the sporty Taurus and Mustang. In the utility vehicle and truck segments, Ford also presents the Edge, Escape, Expedition, Explorer and the F-150 SVT Raptor.

The all-new 2014 Ford Fusion brings an unprecedented portfolio of segment-leading driver assistance and convenience technologies based on sensors, cameras and radar that enable the car to see and respond.

Featuring a sleek silhouette and fresh face, the all-new Fusion helps drivers maintain proper lane position, adjust vehicle speed to changing traffic conditions, identify suitable parking spaces and help park, even aiding drivers backing out of parking space where visibility is obstructed.

The all-new Ford EcoSport is a stunning-looking product that packs in outstanding value and raises the bar in the region’s fast-growing compact utility segment with its compelling value-for-money proposition and features.

Ford EcoSport comes with an attractive price and three trim levels (Ambiente, Trend and the high-end Titanium), as well as the option of a manual or automatic transmission paired with a fuel-efficient 1.5L engine.

The recently launched all-new Lincoln MKZ signifies the introduction of the reinvented Lincoln brand, which will focus on attracting a new body of premium automotive customers. Also to be featured are utility vehicles MKX and Navigator.

The all-new Lincoln MKZ, the first to be rolled out from the dedicated Lincoln design studio, brings new offerings to the midsize luxury segment, beginning with one of the world’s widest-opening retractable glass roofs.

The MKZ features Lincoln Drive Control, which integrates multiple systems (engine, transmission, body and chassis) to deliver a totally new Lincoln driving quality.

A distinct Push Button Shift gear selector, a quiet, well-appointed interior enhanced by standard Active Noise Control, genuine wood trim, full LCD instrumentation, SYNC with MyLincoln Touch and class-exclusive available inflatable rear safety belts supplementing eight standard airbags are the other features.

Visitors to the Almana Motors Ford and Lincoln stand will get the chance to experience the thrills and adrenalin rush of extreme off-roading in a fun and engaging way thanks to the Ford F-150 SVT Raptor simulator, where they race on a simulated off-road course complete with road and vehicle feedback.
