The Museum of Islamic Art (MIA) Park has expanded and developed its children’s playground.
The new playground has doubled in size and offers a place for children to develop strength, co-ordination, balance and also enhances their social skills through new equipment and spaces.
The new playground facilities which have been installed by Swedish company Hags, provides a vibrant space and lively environment for development and play for children of all ages.
There are now three distinct, age-appropriate spaces with exciting play equipment.
There is also fun space for 2-5 year-old children with play equipment that helps to develop motor skills and co-ordination.
A larger playground allows 5-12 year-old children to explore and take part in activities that develop balance and strength.
Lastly, a playground for 12-16 year-olds has been designed to test co-ordination abilities and to support body strength of growing teenagers.
The playgrounds, which open to the public today, will be accessible during normal MIA Park
operating hours.
