Doha: Al Arabi have confirmed the sacking of German coach Uli Stielike (above). The former Real Madrid coach had his contract terminated following the 6-3 defeat against Al Ahli in the Qatar Stars League (QSL) on Tuesday night.
The club is currently seventh in the QSL standings. Reserve coach Abdulaziz Benij will resume first team duties on a temporary basis following the decision. Following an emergency team meeting, the club also decided to dispense with the services of first team players Oris Junior and Sayed Mohamed Adnan.
