Umm Ghuwalina is left out

 Dear Sir,

I am disappointed that the fibre service of Ooredoo has still not arrived in parts of Umm Ghuwalina, where I live, despite it being available almost everywhere in Doha.

My Internet speed is extremely slow. I request Ooredoo officials to look into this matter.

Long wait for Ooredoo services

Dear Sir,

I had applied to Ooredoo for Mozaic, Internet WiFi and landline services on November 18 last year but I am still to be connected. I have made several calls to Ooredoo’s customer service but all to no avail. It is frustrating really. My account number is 1007214589 and the case ID is 542459.

Deadly hatred

Dear Sir,

Hatred has enveloped the globe on a massive scale. Hate has killed hundreds of millions in thousands of conflicts, for the past 2,000 years. It knows no season and no limit. It is immensely irrational and is a deadly phenomenon. It is in us all. And it will forever, unless we choose to confront and expunge it from our lives.

It was Martin Luther King who said: “Darkness cannot drive out darkness, only light can do that. Hate cannot drive out hate, only love can do that.” In a world awash with hate, vengeance and brutal competition, there is a need for radical generation of compassionate and principled people.

There is a need for those who are going to live lives driven by the kind of love which circumvents self-centred conventions of our world which is self destruction from its seams.

Mankind shows very little sign  of tolerance: we are moving on a path of self-destruction egged on by hatred.
