The Katara Culture Forum will hold a seminar on the role of media in cultural development in mid-February as part of the scheduled activities of Katara - the Cultural Village Foundation.

The seminar will address key topics such as press and culture: reality and future, responsibility between media and culture, culture in the new media, satellite channels and culture, and the challenges involved.

The event looks to draw the participation of a large number of writers and intellectuals with a special focus on young people to enhance their communication with older generations.
