Students attend an Arabic class at Fanar

Some 443 expatriates, including 210 women, attended the Arabic Language Course at the Education Institute of Qatar Islamic Cultural Center (Fanar). The Institute is a section in Da’wa Management and Islamic Guidance in Ministry of Endowment and Islamic Affairs.
“Despite its difficulty, I feel happy to study Arabic,” said Marious Velages, a Greek expatriate and level three student.
Faisal Beilin, a Turkish engineer in a Qatari- French company in Doha and a level three student said: “I’m returning to study after a long break, I want to improve my speech.. I can read and write perfectly.”
The Head of Fanar, Abdulla Mohamed al-Mulla explained that curricula is designed to fit all students’ needs. The courses teach them everyday language and elevates them gradually through different levels to proficiency.
