Best Buddies Qatar will organise a seminar titled: “Social Integration of People with Intellectual Disabilities: Between Reality and Expectations” on January 12-13 at the Grand Hyatt Hotel. |
Laalei Abu Alfain, managing director, Best Buddies Qatar, said the main purpose of holding such a specialised seminar is to discuss ways of ensuring social integration of people with intellectual disabilities as well as to highlight their current situation and social
integration in Qatar.
Lecturers at the seminar will include professors and specialists from various governmental institutions.
The seminar will have eight different groups of subjects related in themes of social integration of people with intellectual challenges in the
community.
Moderators of the seminar include Ministry of Interior’s Dr Mohamed Abdullah al-Marri, Supreme Council for Family Affairs Planning adviser Dr Abdulaziz Farah and Al Wafaa School for Boys licence owner Hanadia
al-Khater.
