JeemTV has launched a campaign, which aims to develop children’s interests in scientific matters. |
The plan is to help children embrace scientific thinking through an entertaining approach. The campaign also aims to introduce children to the achievements of scientists so that they can benefit from their experience and expand their knowledge.
In support of the science campaign, JeemTV has prepared various reports to encourage children to appreciate the role and efforts exerted by scientists to advance science and technology. The campaign will also raise awareness about the importance of science for a better and brighter future. Reports will feature the Astronaut Training Center based in Germany, Amazing Lab and Magical Physics Center based in Lebanon, and Eureka Science Center based in Finland.
Additionally, the campaign is to host a scientific event in Doha on January 30.
Commenting on the science campaign, JCC’s acting executive general manager and channels’ director Saad al-Hudaifi said: “We at JCC realise the importance of raising awareness about the role of science in our daily lives, education, and child development. So, we always strive to inspire children to understand just how incredible scientific achievements are, especially in the Arab World, as well as to promote a culture of interest in science among our viewers through our programming and campaigns.”
This campaign falls within JeemTV’s objectives of enabling children, strengthening their knowledge, and instilling values that will help build the promise of a new generation through the small screen and other interactive digital platforms.
