Ooredoo yesterday announced a significant upgrade for their nationwide network of self-service machines (SSMs), which will enable customers to make real-time payments to Kahramaa for their water and power bills.
“Customers have been able to pay their Kahramaa bills via SSMs since 2012 and the new update will mean that payments are instantly reflected on the customer’s account,” Mohamed Saleh al-Marri, chief sales and service officer, Ooredoo, said.
All bill payments made via Ooredoo SSMs will be instantly and automatically recorded on customers’ Kahramaa accounts, a useful facility particularly if people are looking to avoid their account being suspended or need to make a payment outside of opening times for Kahramaa’s customer service centres or cannot make a payment online.
The update on the SSM network is the latest in a series of significant upgrades on Ooredoo’s
network of SSMs.
With more than 200 SSMs placed throughout the country, customers can now pay last minute bills at the airport, Bu Sumra border, drive-through SSMs at main highways and machines in popular malls and main shopping areas.
In addition to paying their Ooredoo and Kahramaa bills, customers can top-up Hala accounts, update their accounts and purchase vouchers for shopping, vacationing and dining experiences that can be used with some of the most popular brands in Qatar.
