The new service station is located in Mesaieed approximately 50km south of Doha.
The station was officially inaugurated by Mohamed Khalifa Turki al-Sobai, Woqod vice-chairman and managing director along with company directors.
“We are honoured by the presence of our dignified guests, who came today, to show their encouragement and support for Qatar Fuel’s endeavours to achieve its strategic goals of providing premium and professional services to citizens and residents of our generous country” said al-Sobai.
With a total area of more than 20,000sq m and set up at a cost of QR44mn, the Mesaieed-North Station is considered one of the largest Woqod petrol stations to be opened so far.
The facility is the fifth one to be put into operation this year.

Additional nine are under development and expected to be opened within a year, while others are still under planning and consent, Woqod said.
The service station will provide a full range of gasoline and diesel products, LPG cylinders for domestic use, and will be the first in the area to provide manual and automatic car wash services.
In addition to Woqod’s various products and services including an ATM, a tyre bay, and a basic vehicle maintenance workshop, the station located on the entrance of Mesaieed Industrial Area will feature numerous services including Sidra convenience store.
