HE the Minister of Awqaf (Religious Endowments) and Islamic Affairs Dr Ghaith bin Mubarak al-Kuwari, met Saudi Ambassador to Qatar Abdullah bin Abdulaziz al-Aifan here yesterday.
They  exchanged ratification instruments of a memorandum of understanding (MoU) in Islamic affairs and Awqaf between Qatar and Saudi Arabia, which was signed in Doha in February 2010.
Al-Kuwari lauded the level of relations between Qatar and Saudi Arabia, and praised the efforts being exerted by the leadership of the two countries for welfare of the human being and prosperity of the homeland.
The Saudi ambassador emphasised the strong relations binding the two  countries and their keenness to further enhance co-operation in the various domains with a special emphasis in the Islamic affairs’ field.
