Denis Sassou Nguesso, President of Congo, visited Ras Laffan Industrial City (RLC) recently.
He was accompanied by HE the Minister of Energy and Industry, Dr Mohamed bin Saleh al-Sada.
Abdulaziz J al-Muftah, director, (Industrial Cities) at Qatar Petroleum (QP) and senior RLC officials welcomed the guests.
Al-Muftah gave a presentation on RLC, focusing on its development and the expansion of projects and investments in the area.
Nguesso and al-Sada went on an aerial tour of RLC’s facilities, industries and port.
“I am particularly honoured to visit Ras Laffan Industrial City, where I found a facility, professionally and efficiently managed and staffed,” Nguesso wrote in the city’s guest book.
